Anyway, once you have root access, you still (probably) can't get at the code for the screen lock (I'm guessing it's either it's own executable or a function implemented directly into the OS).

But what's to stop you from writing a look-alike with similar functionality? Think like a hacker, dammit!

The fact that pushing the "lock" button, will still bring up the regular iOS version, and the fact that it'd feel incomplete if all it was, was another App. I just like being thorough about these things :/
