Text Message Troubles

I'm having this weird problem. Every time I send this friend of mine a message, she receives my messages and also receives messages that seem to originate from my phone but which I haven't sent. Could anybody tell me what the problem is cause I've only heard of a few instances of such things happening but don't know why?

Maybe you forgot to lock your keyboard, so your phone is texting without you noticing it?

lock ur keypad. also set up an auto key lock if you want. that'l help. this happened w/ me too.

See your wireless provider in person, or contact tech support via phone or online chat, if available. Because they are familiar with your phone model, they would offer much more help.

If they're actual messages that aren't coming from you, it could be text message From: spoofing? (i.e. http://messaging.uscc.com/sendtextmsg/)

But you didn't specify what sort of messages they were, so..
