proxy blocking all things

hi , my proxy is blocking everything, commands like telnet , ping and all those i try with cmd/terminal are blocked. please suggest a way i can break out of the firewall. !

What is returned when you enter those commands into the terminal?

i simply get coudlnt find host when pinging.. i don't actually remember the error as i am not in my school these days..but no special error it is i can make sure for you .
will soon repost the error line once i get into school after holidays...

Without knowing too mutch about your case, you could try a nslookup. But i really think you need to define what you are trying to do.

So while you're connected to the internet, you can not use command prompt commands? Huh. Give us more information when the next time you have a chance to check it out. Try using command prompt and powershell and let us know what it says when you try the commands.
