Networking Attacks

What's the best way to setup a home network? Why should I care about BGP?

Networking Attacks

Hey,

I'm doing a little bit of research and would like to be able to look over the source for LOIC DoS application. I don't know where to find it obviously. Anyone know where I can find the source?

As far as I know, it's closed-source. You could try looking at the Javascript version that was released recently.
Assume that everything I say is or could be a lie.

This kid's obviously from 4chan. The least we can do is counter-troll.

ADD: Besides, he obviously did not look for "LOIC source code" or else he would have found it immediately.

Pretty much. To my credit though, I had only ever used it as the compiled version and not a .jar. Oh well. My Googling comment is still valid. Facial status: Half saved.

Also, http://encyclopediadramatica.com/Talk:LOIC

Read the last comment. Made me lol.

A JavaScript version of LOIC wouldn't be such a terrible idea if it was also a browser extension or greasemonkey script. Making it easy and safe as possible to opt-in is key.

Making it stealthy and opt-out would be way cooler.

Are you against LOIC altogether or are you saying that requiring C# for an opt-in DDoS is the best idea?
