I been trying to ping routers and servers around me and been successful, But then i came across the ping command ping -v TOS. What does this command do and when it say's TOP (Type of Service) what would i input in there..?? Any help would be nice, thanks

I have never used the -v with ping but maybe this will clear things up..

"Type of Service: Specifies the Type of Service (ToS). The requested ToS is placed in each probe, but there is no guarantee that all routers process the ToS. It is the Internet service's quality selection. The default is 0"
