Multi router network

What's the best way to setup a home network? Why should I care about BGP?

Multi router network

What up hts'ers, this is just a basic question, lets say i have a network, with the mainframe being some server room or whatever. and im connected to one of the many attached wireless routers set up to make the network accesable in thw whooe building (large one). the question is, how do i connect to the router page at the very last point of the network, no matter how man routers are in the way. since in theory if i type the deafult fateway into the browser i should be getting the router page for the wireless or whatever is inbetween me and the mainframe.

thank you in advance. :geek:

If I understand you correctly, your keywords are: subnets and/or pivoting. If I didn't, could you please clarify what you mean by 'the very last point of the network' and 'thw whooe building'?

Gonna take a stab and say OP means the gateway on the network the mainframe belongs to.
traceroute? I actually havn't done much practical network diagnostics stuff so I don't know
BTW would the router even have a web interface? I would have thought the admins would close off all potential access

Ever used a console cable with a router OP? You're missing out ;)
