WPA specification

Hey guys.
Where can I get a official specification of the WPA and WPA2 algorithms and protocols.
I've been googling it but there is a lot of practical descriptions but I'm not sure what organisation is in charge of these protocols.

Is it the NIST? the Wifi Alliance iso?

This will probably be a little difficult to find written out. If it was publicly released then anyone could make a program to crack the encryption. But I like a challenge and this topic so I'll see what can be dug up.

For those who are interested... there is a website http://ieeexplore.ieee.org/Xplore/guesthome.jsp (IEEE xplore) which allows to search through the different research papers published for IEEE.

It's not exactly what I was looking for but there's still some interesting stuff there.
