Anyone heard of the trojan out for Mackintosh?
If anyone has a copy of it, or source code to it I'd love to know where I can find it.
Has anyone actually encountered it in use without actually looking for it?

Edit: http://www.malwarecity.com/community/in ... entry=5019 <-- another interesting article about the subject although I'm not sure what to think about the whole "DarkCometX" thing.

I've heard of it, but it really doesn't surprise me at all. Apple is gaining Market share rapidly, and so Malware authors have a stronger incentive to develop for it. I'm not particularly interested in it though, mostly because I don't own a Mac, but also because I doubt its anything special really. I'm sure it's essentially a ported Windows tool that relies on some security hole present in OSX.

So is this the time for Mac users to start getting their hands on AV software for macs? I know one of the articles I posted had a related link to an Australian company that is developing/has developed some AV software for the mac.
