Neither do admin accounts on Windows. My main account on my Windows 7 partition is set as computer-administrator, and I still can't modify any important files or run certain programs without authorization.

i got a valid reason,i been wanting to since way before he mentioned annything,its just linux is allot safer,and im just getting real sick of reformatting harddrives because of viruses,and other bullshit...
i go by many names =]

If you can pull it off, switch to Linux. However, viruses are your fault, not windows'.

Yea, if you feel up to it, Linux is fun to mess with, just don't be disappointed if something doesn't work. There's a lot of tinkering involved. Especially if you're installing on a laptop.
