I have now managed to write my decyption program and have found the original message in Realistic 6.
Problem is I have no idea how to "reply" and return the message

wish i had seen this first.............. i brute forced it, a password that small isn't so bad, especially when you've figured out the pattern and tested it a bit, i enjoy puzzles like it........... makes the brain work for once............. (teachers are worthless, so very little in a public school is of interest, or the teachers kill it themselves)

You pick a specific language to write the program with, then you use the commands specific to that language that carries out the actions necessary to encrypt / decrypt the way your code does.

Ontopic:
I expected more than just 1 way of ''encryption'' for something called "Cryptography 101".
Perhaps add a few other methods as well? Playfair Cipher etc. (As they are different, shows people the different way some things work.)
