PDF Decryption

I am looking to decrypt a password-protected PDF file. I'd love to hear about the tools and methods you guys use, but I'm mainly interested in this for the education - I don't particularly need to decrypt this exact file. It's currently encrypted in 128-bit AES, but I'd like to know solutions for other common encryption methods. I have the files hosted on my server, but I'm not particularly keen on distributing the URL in this post given the type of people here. If you PM me, I can send you the files or give you a mirror to download them, but keep in mind I also want to learn how to do this myself.
