Encryption is very interesting and I've been thinking of an 'Eternity Code' for half a year now, one which cannot be cracked. I figure by using a sound as the method of input as in non-digital acoustic waves so there are too many possibilities to brute force

The problem with that is, how are you going to encrypt digital data with analog sound? At some point, the sound must be converted into bits. It would essentially be a very long key, longer than the 4,096-bit that's practical today.

1. Make a film or short then use it as a key.
   
   • If it is a movie it would be a 1-4 GB key.
   • If it is a short then it would be a 10-100 MB key.
2. Use a strong cipher.
3. ???
4. Profit

The point is that you give a decimal value in order since you think in decimals and not in binaries or in the cryptanalysis case in 256th base.

It all basically comes down to this:

Every letter is assigned a number in order to let the computer understand it. If a cipher shifts by +13, then 13 is added to each number, which will now represent a different letter. That will be the encrypted Text. To unencrypted it, you subtract 13 from each number, and you're back at your original string.

Computers only really understand and electrical charge (+/-), generally called binary code. Every number is represented by a group of 0's and 1's. Decimal and Hexadecimal are shorthand ways of expressing Binary. Just like letters are a shorthand way of expressing the numbers which represent them.
