Need Help With Key Generation

What I was wanting to know is if you had say two or even five alpha numeric keys that work and are legitimate. Is there a program or method to compare them against each other to generate a new key that would verify as authentic? I mean I know there are those keys that work on a rotating cipher, but for the sake of argument lets say these don't. Any help in the right direction would be great!

If you know the algorithm used to make the keys, you can pretty much guarantee a correct counterfeit. Now, whether or not it will work is a different story, since the key may have already been used, or the program may only accept algorithm keys in a certain range.

Unfortunately, this isn't that easy to do. It requires a lot of reverse-engineering OR access to the algorithm itself.
Assume that everything I say is or could be a lie.

So key generators work because the author isolated the algorithm in the target program and exploits it by simply using that to generate new authentic keys?

Kind of. The program will include code that checks the key you enter against certain requirements. The "cracker" will then find what the code checks for, and create another algorithm that will create codes that satisfy the requirements.

The crack ensures that the program won't communicate with the internet and figure out if the key is valid.

Even if a key fits a certain equation, it still might not have been a key 'chosen', if you understand what I mean.
