is the intro to cryptography class usually good?

I know everybody's schools are different, but I was wondering if anyone has taken an Intro to Cryptography class, and how they liked it. I'm going to be taking it next semester.

Never took the crypto class at my u, but it should be offered anywhere there is a decent CS program.

Rumor has it that the syllabus for our crypto class was itself encrypted...

That is a pretty cool subject, i wonder if he is at a technology college or high school? Because in the UK the only way we'd have Universities that would do that course would be at a IT college....

@Goatboy Thanks, I don't really have a list or anything specific at all. I was just curious of how useful people thought the class was and maybe a hint of what goes on. I would be using it for my hobby website projects mostly.

I loved my crypto class. But I wouldn't advise taking it without knowing your math first. Most, if not all, cryptography has its roots in number theory. If you can do basic modular arithmetic, you should be good to go Of course, the class will be different from school to school, but I'd definitely recommend taking it.
