Challenge

This is an easy challenge, you don't need to use any math here. It's easier to use this cipher than ceasar cipher.

Because it's simple substitution cipher, i'm giving short example only:

Plaintext: code
Ciphertext: VPFR

Tip: think different

updated challenge: OWEAIBUDUXLRUIB
(using same algorithm but different "shift")

I'm afraid my cryptanalysis skills are currently limited to twenty minutes on Ma's Reversing, so I only decrypted the string by guesswork for the moment.

I really should look into cryptography more...

Do we need to find and algorithm if you have already said its a simple substitution cypher?

I thought it was a keyboard thing. if 'code' = 'vpfr' look at your keyboard (assuming it is qwerty):

c is adjacent to v
o is adjacent to p
and so on...

It seemed consistent halfway through Spectre557's solution, so I thought that must be it. Heck of a coincidence?

that is one hell of a cool encryption, haha, imagining telling a friend to decrypt it and then he spends hours ceaser brute forcing, haha got me for a bit aswell....

it's really easy to use this cipher

I call it "Typo"

I personally use it when i want to encrypt some text quickly, no need to think about any algos or to do any math. Key shifting might be changed to any other and might be mixed. Enjoy
