.0 Encryption

Hey guys, I made an encryption algorithm in Python. All you do is make a txt file with plain text in it, run the file, type in the location, and it spits out a file called "output.txt" with the encrypted text in it. I call it the .0 algorithm, because of how the encrypted code looks. It's pretty hard to figure out without the decrypter.

So far:
Total Completion: <||||||||||||||||||||=====> 74.5%
Encrypter: <|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||=> 99%
Decrypter: <|||||||||||||||||||===============> 50%

To do:
Add punctuation replacements to encrypter
Finish reversal of code to decrypter

Sorry I can't post the programs now, I left them on a different computer...heehee.

Looking forward to trying it out.
Im off, last year of school and all, I had something longer but char limit fucked that up. So yeah, had a good run here. Thanks for the memories. Thanks to the staff and users.

Always glad to see new encryption algorithms being released. Do you plan to put out the source code too?

I believe that's why he mentioned they were on another computer.

It's in Python. You can right click and open it in Notepad to see it.

Anyway, I got it from that computer. It's not the latest version however...the decryption algorithm still works, just the case of the letters is messed up.

It's not too hard to see how it works, but it's confusing to try and break it. I will make it harder too. It's just a letter replacer. It replaces letters with complex strings with numbers. My next update will have the case fixed and the encryption near impossible to break.

It shouldn't be hard to break with unlimited sample data.

Did you try it yet? There are a few things that could be easy to see. Letters separated by dots and recurring patterns of numbers/letters are among them.

Looks pretty good, I'll try it out and see how things go.

Haha. If that is true then you wouldn't be posting it here.

Heh, well I just mean that it will have a few layers of encryption. It will encrypt it into the number/letter strings I made, then encrypt those. Maybe I will even encrypt those. But, I will split the alphabet in half and move letters around to be encrypted into, so it will be confusing.

Eventually, I hope to make this a GUI application.
