Anyways, what kind of shitty distro doesn't ship with cmake and gcc!!?!??!?!
If you don't have an internet connection your somewhat fucked. Unless you can download gcc/cmake source packages (or even RPM's) on another machine and transfer then over the network or through some other media (cd's, usb drives, etc).
Basically with cmake and gcc you just execute the following commands:
- Code: Select all
./configure (options here and only if it ships with a configuration script)
and that's just about the gist of it
Be advised though that any given source package can rely on any variable amount of other packages, these are more commonly known as dependencies.
