It's actually mentioned in the post directly above yours by fiftysixer :D and is one of the options to vote for (Slackware).

My bad, didn't notice. It is a fairly good OS though, and is probably the best.

HI EVERYBODY!
I am a freshman of HTS. And I just become the linux user.I just got little experience of linux(ubuntu) .so I wonder if ubuntu is good for hacking?

It all depends on what level of hacking you are doing. Cracking wep keys and manipulating websites....Ubuntu is fine....pentesting and stuff like that......Backtrack is good if you can get it to install (it has no easy click install button)
