Windoze and mac OS are terrible. They are too big, bloated, consume too many resources, don't have a lot of control or flexibility since your stuck with what a small group of developers want people to have. They are great for average point-and-click users though.

Linux flexibility? Build your own operating system, write your own source code.

Linux cost? You could spend 5,000$ on software alone and still not match capabilities with linux systems.

Apple? What is weird about apple is they manufacture there junk with cheap labour in China and 3rd world countries and their products are the most expensive around. Not too mention the crap-apps and software they run is laughable. What Apple has done is fully mastered the concept of making average people feel smarter than they really are.

The linux vs mac vs windows is all personal opinions. There is no right or wrong answer here, this thread could continue to go on indefinitely. It really all depends on the person and what your needs are. That being said, this topic has shifted from the main OP and I will now lock it. If you would like to continue the debate, create a new topic is the OS category of the forums. Thanks for the input everyone, good to see people getting involved.
