Ah, we weren't that far, then. It was that value in the Registry.... just that we had to change permissions on the key so everyone can read.... I had only changed the ones in the files...
And, this solution is the best because it's personal to each user!!! Yeah!!

EDIT: Just to make sure I understood what I just did... The trick in the video is to do what I was doing already, change the value in the key, but afterwards edit permissions so People (Windows) can read it but cannot edit it. That is, it cannot change the value to the "good one" again because nobody has that permission. Is that right?
