What version of Windows is the Worst?
I think that is Windows ME, Damn sure it ain't Windows Vista.
Everyone says that "Vista is horrible," "Should never be released," and so on. Well if you think that Windows Vista sucks ass then get at least 10 good solid programmers and start coding a better operating systems than Windows Vista. To me Windows Vista sucks in some ways but the visuals and whole idea of it to me is great. I would buy a Windows Vista machine, again. On the machine that I bought I installed Windows Xp and Ubantu on to it. It's a great solid machine if you keep it in tip top shape. Vista doesn't suck that bad that you have 4,000 thousand and more people in the world complaining, like a bunch of bitches.

But some people don't want an OS for the visuals, my opinion is that I generally don't like Microsoft products but they serve a good purpose for people who have less computer experience, because for people who know what they're doing there's no need for all the system files to be hidden and for the OS to have to ask permission every time you launch a program.

If Apple had released Vista then the response would be something along the lines of "OMFGGG!!!1 APPLE > M$$$!!!! WOW!!!!!" etc.

You have to remember though that 99% of the world's computer users are noobs.

It is Microsoft's way of introducing system wide security, similar to the linux "sudo bash", though more annoying for experienced users.

Microsoft is great at what it does. Linux is great too at what it does. Mac is just shit. ::mrgreen::
Talk to an experienced user about MS and it's something like "executable code! viruses! poor performance! graphics rendered using DirectX!" etc etc whereas your normal user is "Windowss...? What's that again..? Ohh! Yeahh! I know that!! It's like.. that thing..? With like.. the start menu? and like.. word? and excel!! and... the internet!!!!!!" - and yer I have asked people what O/S they are using and they're like "um.....".

i think this is true for everyone on this site........

this is the unfortunate truth to the life of a hacker, i wish there was one place in the world where it was a city of purely hackers....... would be really nice (would also have a lot of FBI agents around.......)

windows vista is just a ripoff of ubuntu cos ubuntu is free and you can do a hell of a lot more and the vista effects are just stolen off beryl!
