([msg=36053]see Debian Server[/msg])

I set up Debian Lenny using this guide and i was wondering if there is anything else that i should look into for using this system for connecting my other computers in my house and practicing php, sql, etc.

Also any other tips for using this as it is my first system which doesn`t have any form of GUI.

Thanks

Well the guide seems pretty solid BUT if you want to learn something, trash ispconfig and learn how to configure those services by yourself.
And well, to get familiar with the Linux CLI you have to use it! Just use it ... for everything ... and you will see that its pretty easy & very fast to do things once you figured out how the logic behind a CLI works.
With this world there is no understanding, we belong their only to the extent, as we rebel against it (Theodor W. Adorno) --> if somebody knows a "official" translation for the well known german quote ... pls let me know!
