Maybe moo learned something and he's a wiseman hard to shut down now .

Not exactly sure what you just asked. But you can still do the missions here. Though they may not necessarily work in the real world, if that's what you're asking.

I Googled around for mIRC exploits from 2004 (5 years before the mission was created), found and tried this popular D** S**D exploit many times, changed it a little, still nothing.

Can anyone confirm that this mission is not broken?

I can confirm this is working - had some of the same issues as others. What worked for me was not using an IRC client and using the bot I wrote for programming 8. There was a character that wasn't being sent properly when using RAW in a client...

Pressing Ctrl+Shift+u once can be used in Linux to input hex unicode/ASCII (press Ctrl+Shift again afterwards), in Windows holding down Alt combined with the numpad numbers (the other ones won't work) will do the same with integer unicode/ASCII. I don't know if that was a requirement here, but I have used those at least once in the IRC missions.

Well, all clients should also come equipped with a command to do this as well.
If your client doesn't support it, time to get a new one, cause the one you are using sucks.

Let me guess: you were going to suggest Weechat?
