If the bell doesn't ring when you read ALMOST, it is probably verry hard to help!

I managed to fix it in eclipse so that it works every time (Java is the language I'm best in ^^'), but when I input my answer to the site, it doesn't seem to like it. :x

How wonderful. I start my first class on java in six days "Introduction to Object Oriented Programming". Seriously. Looks like I'll be reading ahead. I'm already familiar with OOP, just not java. Ext 14 will have to wait.

Same as green_shadow622. This one didn't take me much time, but I don't know how I am supposed to submit the solution or what part of it. suggestions, hints, would appreciate anything thnx.

e.g.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lUixwl5APT4 (this is how it works)
http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial ... utors.html (this is what they are)

What I notice right away is the variable output, it is not 1337 every time, so a slightly fix in the right place might do the trick

Same problem as above, I know what is wrong and how to fix it, but what am I supposed to be submitting?
I've tried the whole code, and just the line that I changed, but no luck

EDIT: Ok, so it seems I've done it now, though I'm not sure which way I submitted it was correct.

I don't know if it's just me, but once I get this code to compile, it runs with no race condition whatsoever. It may be something with my system's virtual machine. Or, it could be based on an older problem with Java that has since been fixed. Granted, this isn't how I would have approached handling the threads, but either way, the output is always the same.
