For those who are struggling with this task:

1. If you don't experience the race condition in your own development environment, then just increase the value of MAX constant. For example from 1337 to 13337. I'm sure you'll start to see the difference then.

2. If you already know where there problem is but don't know how to submit it - you only have to submit the one line that contains the fix. And the HTS validator is rather pedantic, so be sure to check the order of the keywords.

I didn't know how to resolve this one because Java isn't my best... But the article you've linked is very clear.

I solved it! Thanks to jan-erik who said to check the order of the keywords or i would still be searching for the answer .
