Help using Javascript in Firefox

I understand the basics of javascript injection. However, I can not get it to work in Firefox. I was trying to use it on a basic mission. When I enter javascript:(DELETED TO AVOID SPOILER) it does nothing.

I know the script I am trying to use is correct, as I switched over to Internet Explorer and it worked perfectly.
Even if I use javascript:alert(testing); I get nothing with Firefox, but works fine with Internet Explorer.

Any Ideas?

modern browsers are starting to forbid entering javascript into the URL bar, instead, on FF you have to go to Tools > Web Developer > Web Console and enter you js in there.

if you want to use FireBug to do this, you have to open the console tab, it will say that console tab is off, click the button to turn it on.

Most importantly: for most of these JavaScript missions you do not need any JS injection or manipulation. Just read the JS code and enter the correct password.

Enhein let us know if that helped you. Also since you are using firefox you can press Ctrl+Shift+K to bring up the web console to run your injections.
