Hey, I got so far as to know I have to convert the char code but I never figured out how i do this with the developer console. Using an offsite tool it worked but when I used the developer console here it can't find the needed function.

(I hope this wasn't too spoiler-rific)

There is obviously something I am missing, can someone perhaps give me a bump in the right direction?

This mission turned out to be much easier than i thought. This seems far to much simpler than it should be

Ok Mission done! .... as with most of the JS missions I had a right laugh that I'd spent so long on it and I promise you will to once you realise!

... So after sitting staring at this all day, reading various pages covering JS decoding/encoding, thinking about writing code to try JS injection... the answer literally hit me smack bang in the face and I'd been looking at it (but ignoring it ..face palm) for hours on end!

As everyone has said before ... source is key, read, re-read the source!!

PM's would be welcome as I would like to know more about the other ways of doing this mission, especially if the JS injection method worked or if anyone used a script to decode the obfuscation, as the way I ended up doing it was not the way I had imagined completing it!

Cheers HTS!

Everyone seems to be mentioning spending a lot of time and doing various things to solve this challenge. It doesn't sound like I was the only one that managed to use one key, my eyes, and a dash of sense to figure out what the password was (which I then typed into the password submission, probably coulda copied and pasted it too). Also, CTRL+F helped speed up the process. Wondering if Chrome had something to do with it being so easy, maybe? :?
all in all, was one of the easiest, if not the easiest of the javascript missions, all the basics, and the realistics I've done thus far.

Oh, and first post on HackThisSite. Wooo :D
From someone just starting to dabble in this, great site, thank you everyone.

This was so simple. Was it intended to be this simple?
