Good introductory read (bitmap steganography).

Find what's hiding in plain sight

Good introductory read (bitmap steganography).

Found a publicly released Air Force document on bitmap steganography. It starts off very basic and covers a good range of details.

http://stinet.dtic.mil/oai/oai?verb=get ... =ADA361584

The pages links to the pdf file ( http://handle.dtic.mil/100.2/ADA361584 ).

It's a great jumping off point for someone with no steganalysis experience (like myself). Now I actually have half a clue as to what I'm doing.

you can make it yourself, for example
Code: Select all
for(i=0; i<image1.height; i++){
          for(j=0; j<image1.width; j++){
                     if(image1.pixel[i,j] <> image2.pixel[i,j]){
                             dosomethink();
                     }
          }
}

yeah im not thinking that anyone who is asking for programs to finish the challenges is really going to understand you code. but nice try and there is nothing wrong with doing it that way but i would skip the double for loop as it would waste unnecessary run time. we are talking milliseconds here but i like to make them as fast as possible... lol handle the width and height data when you pass the rest of the picture data in. but its obvious that your program wasn't made to work so its what ever lol...
