Hi guys!
I've read through all of the posts, but I'm still stuck on this one. What's so special about that file? Is that the f*******y? If yes, then I don't understand what information it can give.
And should I look at the file in hex? I've found smth that seems strange near the end of the file but it is too long to produce "a string of 25 chars" that all of you were talking about. Any hints?

Too bad Windows doesn't seem to have a good decoder for the 2nd part and cygwin won't save me on this one... I guess I'll have to do it the old fashion way.

I feel like a WWII messenger 8-)

EDITED: ......... and it is not going all that well, i think those guys should have been paid more money for doing this. This is going to take a bit longer than I originally thought but it IS more fun than using a program!

A side note for some people, Audacity shows this file different on Ubuntu then it Does on Windows XP same version 1.13.12-beta. I would have never caught this one if I had not tried it on Ubuntu first.

I think this one may be using dots and dashes in their famous audio form but even if I'm right i don't know how to extract the data from that.

I think I found it...
But now I got a long decimal number...
And it's not the solution..

A hint for everyone else (no spoiler)
1. You don't need your HEX editor.
2. Just listen to it, remember you have two ears.

Well thanks! Interference is all you need, use your brain for the rest.

I really hated this level until I beat it. Then I beat it and realized how genius it was. This is all you need

Along with some type of audio editing tool (audacity worked for me). You'll get the code.

To decrypt it the best hint was one about communications on the victorian internet.

If there are any spoilers here please delete them.
