Stego 9

Hi all,

Stego 9 perplexes me.
My initial thought was with all the noise and distortion that getting rid of it would help, but then remembered the basic description of steganography as looking at the file in a different way (Or a way not intended)
The other sound steg was easy once I got the right tool to be able to "view" it.
Reverse play is interesting. Viewing in hex it "seems" like a valid wav with no extra bits tacked on the end.
Is there a recommended tool for "seeing" whats needed for this mission?

There is something odd about the sound file. It's more obvious when you compare it to a "normal" file.

You'll know it when you see what I am talking about -- if you have to guess, you likely haven't found it yet. The file has a certain attribute that makes it very unusual.

Your right about something strange about it. Size is not right for the bitrate and quality.
I won't say what I'm thinking in case I'm right and it spoils it for others.
Time to think some more about this one.
I might be OVERTHINKING this one.

the file has a HUGE bitrate as compared to normal music so im thinking there is something in the static :idea:

You can tell the obvious by looking at it.
If not, load a normal audio file, and see what they have in common; or better, what not.

Other than its .wav and not .mp3 im not grasping it lol. Any other hints?

Well i have tried to LOOK at it, but i cant seem to find it. I have reversed it, i have tried doing what i did in stego2, i know the bitrate is way high for the size and quality. Have tried looking at the hex.

Now im stuck dont know what to do next. I know its there but i cant seem to find it, and it eats me like crazy. Would somebody please give me a push in the right direction?

Its not as obvious as 2, but still visual (you dont have to listen to that crappy music to solve it

I'm a little stumped here I don't want to make a spoiler but when compared to another file it seems 9 has something missing, at least from the area I'm looking at. Is there something I need to do with what's missing? If so, what?

Its not missing, its just different
