Hey, has anyone checked on this mission lately? I am having trouble unzipping it. I can see the executable in the zipped folder, but when I unzip it, the folder is empty. I downloaded and unzipped the previous application missions and also mission 6. I just can't get 5. Can someone check on this? If it's still working fine for everyone else, then obviously it's something on my end. I can work on 6 in the meantime.

Thanks!

Copy+paste it instead of unzip.

I can get the application to state: The password is X

But X is what I myself typed in as the password....time to learn about memory addresses I guess????

so far i have tried jumping to the message box, break pointing the compare commands and seeing what the code is comparing with, using nop commands to skip code and display the message

oh my gosh! holy shit i didn't recognize i already had the password and it was just shall we say obscured? although i did watch some cracking vids and i had a feeling that was it, i just didn't know it was in that form, and i tried entering it in reverse but it didn't work. there was me thinking i wasn't putting enough breakpoints and stuff in ollydbg! ok, onto app 6 now :)
