And do you feel satisfied knowing exactly why what you did worked?

Take a look through this article, it has an example of changing html with and without firebug:

Am I doin it rite?

Hi guys, I'm new here and just had a quick question about mission 4 (hope this doesn't qualify as a spoiler).

After working through the problem I opened my file, clicked the "Send password" button and it sent me to a page with the password. It worked but I'd like to know what I did wrong and why I didn't get an email instead.

Thanks for taking time out for us noobs.

You did it correctly, it won't actually send you an email. It's just a simulation.

OK, so I did the thing necessary to get the password, but when I put in the password, I get this :
"Invalid Referer

Invalid referer. The requested URL /missions/basic/4/index.php will not be loaded.

Click here to go back to the last page."

Ok I did what had to be done, that was easy. However, when I run my edited page and click submit, it doesn't attach the POST parameters to the request and I get a "Invalid email address, sorry!". This happens in both firefox and surf (surf is a simple webkit browser), so I don't think it's browser specific.

The reason I think my copy won't attach the post params is that an unedited (except for that one change to connect to the right server) local copy get's the same response as a plain old GET on the script. The method still says "post" I didn't change that.

Has anyone else had this problem? Any hints?
