basic 4 - gentle push needed

heyy im a newbie but enthusiastic ha! basically a little smidge of insight on Basic 4 would be just perfect, im pretty sure i've got the right block of loveliness in notepad, sorted the bits that needed sorting and open her up, but i get error this isn't valid on the url i fixed previously like it's reverted for somereason if im making sense? aha been on this for 3 days now an every attempt is getting a bit more abstract an off piste x)

sperminoid, it is important for you to know that trusting a user with form details is very insecure. not verifying/securing form data is very bad practice :p

beautifulll, i think i've got it right anyway, im not sure if there's any software i'll need specifically besides what i've already mentioned from what i gather i've got everything unless im missing something really obvious :/

I think Basic 4 has a bug. I 've had two problems with it.

First, I KNOW I'm taking the correct steps. I not only changed the first thing that needs to be changed, but also changed the bit that causes the error that the OP mentioned. When it wasn't working, I verified with an outside source that I was doing it correctly and it still wouldn't go.

Now all of a sudden I can log in, go to the Basic 4 page, hit "send message to Sam" and it sends me to the "password reminder successfully sent" message.. without me doing anything at all! And obviously it is not sending me a message to email since I haven't changed the source code.

A mod needs to check that Basic 4 is working correctly. BTW, I'm on Windows XP with IE7.
