Duly noted. When staff has enough time, things like this will become a higher priority. As of now, it may be a while before it is taken care of.

This mission was disappointingly easy considering I solved this and question 8 in the exact same manner :/

9 requires a little something extra. That's the point of this mission.

ahaha, with basic 8 under my belt, basic 9 was almost as easy as basic 1. it took me all of 10 seconds after reading the description to figure it out :P

Instant frustration.
I think the fact that im tried as shit is getting in the way here lol.
ok so the first one you solve with ls ../
the only other command i tried that worked was ls with no arguments
this gives me a long list of files that apparently dont exist
please help me

EDIT: nevermind I got it, it was just an oddly specific command.

Could I ask how you could find the names of these directories from a server?
without being given the directories this would be impossible in real life,.

Pay attention to the URL when navigating a site.

ok I got stack, I went up 2 directories and used the exact path that is given in the description along with command to display the content, it still doesn't work. I also tried to modify the path by replacing some of the slashes with dots still no positive result :?

The tricky part here is making sure you are in the right directory with your command. If you aren't sure go back and look where the output file is for Mission 8. Since 9 is very similar go through and manually direct yourself to the directory your command is written to go. If it's in the wrong place for the file then you need to make adjustments.
