well... i need to say this...

it took me a while... and i have been doing the right thing for ages... apparently i wasn't logged in and maybe that's why it wasn't working.

also i was inserting the unix command directly on the address bar... but when i logged back in i entered the cmd in the inputbox and voila!...

hope this helps a suffering soul.

I should have gotten this at once, but what confused me what that not all UNIX commands are available.
I first tried to "echo test" to test for syntax and when that didn't work I assumed I had made some mistake, when in fact it was just that echo is not available and that other command you need works.
Same goes for cat btw.

1st.why cat doesnt work?its the most used unix command..
2nd.sam is an idiot!
3rd.dont spoil.."find the char missing" could be replaced with "use the char that you use with other languages such as java C+ when using a command" etc..
and 4 @ those who are asking for help..well, you came here to learn 1-2 things..stop crying and google..

uhm, I'm not sure if this is any of use besides of flaming others...
1. cat is an adorable pet
2. sam is claimed to be an idiot several times
3. it is said that the character in question can be found in some programming languages as statement terminator, and the unix shell has similarities with C as well
4. google won't help you. programming experience will instead
