I have managed to get the list of .shtml files and I know enough UNIX commands to check the listing of a directory you're not in, please can I get some guidance on what is a "little more pertaining to the level" as I'm truly stumped.

I've been stuck on basic 8 for a little while. so I read this Wikipedia article http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dynamic_HTML which states DHTML wasn't introduced to Internet Explorer until V4.0 so would I be on the right track to download IN V3.0?

No, you don't need to download anything for this just find the right command to enter. Look through these posts and you will find some links to sites that will help.

You are heading in the wrong direction at this point. Try to follow some of the website links that explains SSI (Server Side Includes) or google it. Don't over think this
