I hope this isnt too much of a hint, but try entering simple, test strings to see what it does.

Hey, Just wondering something ?

I just figured this out after a few minutes by following how the encryption worked and using a ascii table to change the encrypted password back but was this the correct method, or is there another way to alter the page to figure it out for you ?

The idea here is to crack the encryption algorithm and decrypt the password so yes, you did this the correct way.

May be you all should try to convert the several chars (number) into Decimal then encrypt it(char or number) and convert the encrypted key one more times. Compare them and see what happens.
Ps: You can use ASCII chart or some softwares to convert from char to decimal.

No, an ascii table isn't needed for this challenge but can be very helpful. The first thing you need to do is try and figure out how the password got to where it's at and you can use the 'encrypt' box to try and solve the algorithm for that. Once you do that you can use the table if necessary to help you decrypt the given password, but again, it can be done without it.

thanks man i was tring to figure this ascii table out and with any luck.. then i read you post and u got me thinking
and i figured it out.. [ though it took me a while ]

only one thing i cant understand.. u wrote that the ascii table isent needed.. can u pm me, and tell me how can i solve this without a ascii table as a point of refrence ?

Everyone gets a different password to decrypt

Ok, I actually have the correct password. I entered what I have into the encrypter and it came up with sams exact encrypted password but when I type it into the password field it says it is incorrect? :?:

Take a closer look at what you get when encrypting and make sure it matches exactly. If it does, then make sure you enter the pass exactly as it should be. This usually happens when there's one symbol or number slightly off.

I figured out the password in about 10 minutes ...and i want to put a hint(or my method of decrypting) for this password
If it's a big hint,or spoiler please(dear moderator) edit my post...but no warn...i'm new
So...i start by entering the following in the decrypt form
00000000000(that is 11 of 0) and it returned 123456789:
then i consulted the Ascii table and figured out how it is encrypted
And i post another hint ......
00000000000 = 0123456789:
+1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8+9....

Again,if this is a big hint or spoiler(dont know for sure what that means-not native speaker-) please edit my post.

Regards
