There is a small hint on the Basic Mission listing. Very small description of the challenge.

Tbh, all the missions are based on very old content/designs. They're not perfect.
The glass is neither half-full nor half-empty; it's merely twice as big as it needs to be.

Thanks, I believe I already solved it, I got the congratz page, but seeing that the page itself didn't show content I wanted to make sure I did what it was after and didn't just get in through a bug in the test.

Not required no. You can complete this with your browser console.

I was able to complete this in IE using the raw script (no add-ons), but every time I entered it into Firefox, it did not change anything and I did not receive the pop-up.

Does anyone know why that is? My js is enabled, which I verified through about:config.

Cheers

Also, where did you put it? Firefox blocks any Javascript in the URL bar for security reasons.

But doesn't that bring up an error message explaining why it isn't allowed?

Yes, it does, but that wasn't specified. Don't dismiss anything yet. There might be loads of other reasons as well, add-ons (e.g. NoScript) being installed or filtering enabled somewhere. I've once seen Javascript fail because my router rejected it.

Good point.

Kuam, try whatever method you were using with an alert() to see whether JavaScript in general works.
If you get a security warning, hit Ctrl-Shift-K to bring up the console. Use that instead.
