Try to simplify the process. Then, once you have an idea, try accessing the file directly.

Are you sure you're trying to open it from the right spot? Make sure you understand what directory you're listing the files from and what directory you're trying to view them from on the web server.

there are many ways to find that file , what i mean is that there are a few more commands that can do the same thing
i dont know why you have decided to check for only one way...

You're on the right path, try formatting it differently.

Hi all,

Does anyone have a good tutorial on SSI that might be useful for this? I've been all over google and still can't crack this. Everything I try just tells me it's not the right command.

I'm trying to switch directories, but all I get is a "you're on the right lines" message. I don't seem to be able to view folder contents either, or even information about the file it supposedly creates. All I get is "your on the right lines", for hours. So yeah, any advice would be great lol.

http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.2/howto/ssi.html

Look specifically at how to execute commands with SSI.
If you still can't figure it out after a couple hours, I recommend taking a break.
Do some reading, relaxing, and maybe attempt some other challenges.
If you're not willing to learn, no one can help you. If you're determined to learn, no one can stop you.⠠⠵

I can explain it for you, but I can't understand it for you.

... I'm getting nowhere with this... I "know" what I need to do, and what kills me, I've done it before on my other acc!. It's not taking any of my inputs, it's just treating them as strings, and no resources I find seem to be helping. Is this just do to picking the wrong commands? Or am is there something that I'm missing...
I don't know how to describe what I'm doing without giving it away, but do I need a character at the beginning like in the last mission? such as ; or 0; < ! doesn't seem to be enough, and neither does ;<!--
I'm not even getting the 'Almost' Messages people are talking about. I've tried windows, I've tried linux... Any words of advice?

I hope I didn't give too much away.
