Uplink-like game: Dark signs

So, I've been playing Uplink for ages, but that's pretty basic as far as hacking simulation goes. I've recently come across Dark Signs, which is more like a console-only/Unix/more real version of Uplink. My question: has anyone heard of it or checked it out? It doesn't seem to have developed past version 1.0 and I couldn't find a newer version than from 2006.

I haven't heard of it but I am an avid uplink fan. Which also never went past version 1.0 lol. Though the bar is set pretty high I think it tries to compare.
