I know this has been around for a while, and pops up from time to time but it's still funny.

At first this seemed like a legit article. Then I read lines like "Popular hacker software includes "Comet Cursor", "Bonzi Buddy" and "Flash"." and "If your son has requested a new "processor" from a company called "AMD", this is genuine cause for alarm. AMD is a third-world based company who make inferior, "knock-off" copies of American processor chips."

Lol.. thanks for this, I've actually never seen it before.. and enjoyed quite a laugh.

My father used to believe in that kinda stuff. It was hilarious when it took him four years, and I kid you not, to realize how silly he was being.

I think the funniest part was when he mentioned quake as a hacker meeting place. Good thing my parents never read this, i would've been in trouble because they probably would've believed it.

I love how he suggested asking the bookseller to stop selling hacking books...
A) 99.999999% of people will go online to find info...I'm learning how to hack and i never even thought to get a book HAHA now i will
B) GOLLY HACKING ISN'T BAD...people act like if you know how to do something on a computer that is out of the ordinary Word Prompt based computer intelligence of most people that you will end up in jail
C) If your kid likes it then let them do it could turn into a career one day. OR ban them from doing it and force them to go behind your back. They WILL do it

The part about limiting your child's computer use to "forty five minutes a day" was what happened to me. It was impossible to get anything done, so I just became nocturnal and staying up all night.

Pretty much what happened to me. Then I learned to hack the router and change it. Limdis was born.
