leet-hacker.com

Recently I viewed the site elite-hackers.com (by none other than the one and only schiz0id), and found it hilarious. I thought that a website like that is perfect, because it provides serious lulz for genuine hackers and totally misguided instructions for potential skiddies.

But viewing a few comments in this forum made it sound like this website is serious. There's no way this website is serious right? It's all a joke, right?

If you read through the whole site, you will find the answer. Most people here have been fooled.

Hacking is never a joke, and your careless and single-minded dismissal of an extremely serious topic is more than frightening. I suggest you seriously reevaluate your actions.

...Yes, the site is a joke.

In most people's defense, or at least my own, I went to that site looking to educate myself and after reading about his apparent preoccupation with sub-seven and programming using notepad, I had no interest in reading further.

Just thought i'd throw that out there.

Hubba hold up. Notepad is perfectly fine for coding. A fine text editor. I hate how people down on it. It may not be the best, but it gets the job done on a clean windows box.

I usually use Notepad on Windows and I tend to stick with just Nano on Linux. For any project of real scale and depth however, and nice text editor would be very helpful. :)
