Cain and Abel Alt.

Hey HTS,

I've been looking around for a version of Cain and Abel usable on a Mac OS. Currently I have C&A set up in Crossover. However, while set up in crossover, the network settings are messed with, not letting me use the sniffer.

So - is there a OSX version of Cain and Abel OR an alternative to Cain and Abel on Mac?

Any feedback is good feedback.

Cain and Abel is not available for Mac. As far as I know, there isn't any one piece of software offering all of Cain's features. However, there is plenty of software out there offering some of them.

If you're looking for a sniffer, you could try Wireshark http://www.wireshark.org/

Cain is beautiful. But it only loves Windows.

I've got Cain running, so it can do it's bruteforce and dictionary cracks, and wireshark for sniffing. Good looks, Wolf.

Any others I could put to good use?

Cain is also good for cracking hashes.

On Mac OS X, Debookee do the same traffic interception as Abel and Cain.
You can see your traffic and the traffic of the devices you intercept, listing them by protocols: HTTP, HTTPS, TCP, DHCP, DNS, etc ...

Nice GUI as well:

At least the necro offered some seemingly decent info. Either way, locked.
