What's Going On Here?

Social engineering is the art of manipulating people into performing actions or divulging confidential information. While similar to a confidence trick or simple fraud, the term typically applies to trickery for information gathering or computer system access and in most cases the attacker never comes face-to-face with the victim.

I've heard of these before. Little looking and this is a pretty well known one too, same address and all. They are trying to catch people off guard then pressure them to send the package or send them the money back. Very low success rate. If you contact you again just have fun with them.

Looks pretty convincing to me OP. You should send him your social security number, your mothers maiden name, and your bank account details so you don't lose a customer.

And of course... assume your grandmother is not Ada Lovelace.

Turn it around, say you got the payment but it didn't seem like he payed the shipping, ask for $10 extra or you'll sell it to someone else.
Also apologize for the confusion, your shipping system crashed this weekend but you are sure he payed only that it didn't cover shipping. Try to be convincing and maybe for once you can scam him into thinking he's getting a phone he didn't pay for if only he payed for shipping. (and don't forget to mention that your system is totally operational now and there is 0 chance of you missing the payment from now on in case things go wrong(as they obviously will))
