Glossarys/dictionaries of company lingo?

Social engineering is the art of manipulating people into performing actions or divulging confidential information. While similar to a confidence trick or simple fraud, the term typically applies to trickery for information gathering or computer system access and in most cases the attacker never comes face-to-face with the victim.

I'm looking for a some kind of glossary of company lingo and/or lingo within the trade. What I have learned is that employees trust you (and trust turns into the giving of valuable information)when you provide the same lingo they use such as , some places use the term sosh(social security number), or people say in telephones businesses " I need to do an LV" (line verification.) I would like to know this information without working at the location obviously.

Best chances are to research this after you pick your target. Reading through forums or subreddits that are about that topic are your best bets.

I admire your angle you are wishing to take with this. But you are likely going to have to build this list yourself as most places differ from pretty much everywhere else. Go slow in footprinting your target if you are going to go in with SE.
