Anyone else feel like this?

So I'm trying to learn python and I keep cringing at the lack of semicolons due to already having really heavy experience in Java (used it everyday for at least 3 hours for about a year). It's weird though because it feels like an itch that I have to scratch but, I can't or else the python code won't run... I was just wondering if this was a common problem or <sarcasm> if I should go see a psychologist or something </sarcasm>.

This is a picture of my ex-girlfriend about three seconds before she blew her brains out all over the sidewalk with a deagle.

I sought counseling for about five years from the psychological trauma I endured. Things are a bit better now but from time to time I still have uncontrollable crying spells. I swore the gun was unloaded when I gave it to her.

But yeah, I can sympathize with your issue with the semicolons.

Actually, I'm more annoyed by the lack of parentheses. Of course, this was changed in the newer python. However, I still love the nice, clean, simple look Python has.

Personally, I like the lack of both, it makes the code look clearer and less jumbled in my opinion.

I like Perl because the semi colons make sense and the parentheses are only needed to help you make sense of your code.
The glass is neither half-full nor half-empty; it's merely twice as big as it needs to be.
