Scaning the deep web with python

I made a simple python program to scan for random IP addresses with port 80 open; it is multy threaded
Code: Select all
import socket
from random import randrange
import threading

def GenerateIP():
   ip0 = randrange(0,256)
   ip1 = randrange(0,256)
   ip2 = randrange(0,256)
   ip3 = randrange(0,256)
   return str(ip0)+"."+str(ip1)+"."+str(ip2)+"."+str(ip3)

class scan(threading.Thread):
   def run(self):
      while 1:
         try:
            target = GenerateIP()
            s=socket.socket()
            s.connect((target, 80))
            print "Found web server: "+target
            s.close()
         except:
            pass

for i in xrange(150):
   t = scan()
   t.start()
Tip me if I helped you!

I'm not sure how this is "deep". I thought you made a script that crawled TOR hidden services or something.

Ditto, he tends to have a lot of misleading titles.

Ok, I do have some misleading titles, but; the script still does find many websites that cannot be found with google (or any other search engine).
