I like Bloodshed DevC++ better because well... I just started and I tried Code::Blocks but... I had no idea how to use it. Then I tried Bloodshed and well.. it worked great

Personally I ues GCC and notepad+ to do my coding. I can go back and forth between linux and windows with them.

I've used Visual Studio, Dev-C++, and gcc.
Out of those my favorite combination has to be gcc and Emacs.
