Re: The "proof" of the Christian God being fake

If got was Omnipotent, then he would most certainly make a rock so heavy he both could and could not lift it. He could certainly make it exist in every state all at once. Moreover, he might also choose not to create a paradox. It is a paradox regardless of what "God chooses to do". A god ...

Re: The "proof" of the Christian God being fake

Well, there's one of the contradictions in the Bible.. He is described by definition as benevolent, but by action as wrathful. I've read some of the Bible, and I remember thinking that contradictions like these are abundant in it. Regarding the issue of omnipotence, we actually have a piece of logic...

Re: The "proof" of the Christian God being fake

I've heard this before, "maybe he meant to make them flawed", but I don't buy it. Because why would he? Why would he make humanity flawed if he expected them to have no flaws (not eating the apple, not killing each other). Did he create them flawed for the sole purpose of giving them the o...

Re: Do you guys/girls beleve in god?

I do not believe in a god as described by religion on Earth. By saying their god is invisible and not understandable, they make themselves immune to argument, which in my mind negates the validity of their claim. I am not the one claiming it exists, so I do not bear the burden of proving the in-exis...

Re: The "proof" of the Christian God being fake

I think the big reason for why God is not perfect is that his creations are not perfect. If he was perfect, anything he made would also be so. No one can deny that if a construction worker makes a building that is not structurally sound, even if everything else he does is flawless, he is not perfect...

Re: Proof that God does/doesn't exist.

I have personally never seen my brain, I have never heard my brain, I have never smelled my brain, in fact nobody has ever really given me any facts that my brain does exist but I can ofcourse take the bread knife and do a little experiment, which would most probably prove that my brain does exist ...

Re: Jeremy faces life in prison

The varying degrees of punishment for.murder are as they are because many believe that if you kill someone under certain circumstances (such as drunk driving or as an "accident") it shouldn't warrant life in prison. If it truly is an accident, then I'll agree that it is reasonable to redu...

Re: Jeremy faces life in prison

Lifetime for stealing, 3 years for killing. Even stealing all the money in the world should not be as severely punished as murder. Stolen money is temporary, and at best only a slight setback. In these cases, the money goes back to the owner. An ended life is ended forever, and it may additionally r...

Re: Introduce Yourself  Topic is solved

Because you didn't reveal the site, I'm sure you've read the ToS. Good luck on getting the guy. I have indeed, but if I hadn't I'm sure my common sense would have allowed me to avoid painting such a morbid picture of this site, and then give out details of the site on a forum of this nature. I thin...

Re: Introduce Yourself  Topic is solved

Greetings. I've sought this place out with a cause, I have a personal vendetta to settle. I am not aiming to do anything illegal, rather, my vengeance has an ethical background.
