Re: Projects?

The device I used: https://www.amazon.com/Misiri-MSR606H-M ... B01GPECDGI
Keep in mind that I tried running the software developed through wine in Linux and it was not compatible that way. So, the software was exclusively for Mac and Windows.

Re: Just wondering about permissions

That someone was partially correct, but not entirely. The executable bit can play a huge factor, too and depending on your design could cause a serious security issue. Let's assume you have a website with an upload form, that is saving images in a /uploads directory with 777 permissions. If I was to...

Re: does anyone want to be in a CTF team with me?

You need to click the check mark to connect to the server using SSL in the configuration options.
Also, clicking the accept invalid SSL certs might help as well.

If you are using port 7000 you have to enable those SSL options.

Otherwise, use the port boriz noted.

Re: does anyone want to be in a CTF team with me?

The Hackthissite Staff has coordinated a CTF team already, as can be seen here: https://github.com/HackThisCode/CTF-Writeups These CTF's you mentioned and several others can be found in our IRC channel where we communicate and commence le hacking. We have bots designated to finding CTF's, and we wor...

Re: Test my Sites Security

Yes, how would I patch that? The majority of the exploits are within the CMS and theme being used. There was another user from another site that discovered a theme exploit and what you mentioned above as well. I cannot find anything useful. You should implement XSRF Tokens on your forms. These are ...

Re: Test my Sites Security

Your site is tighter than a ducks arse. I disagree... Through the forums, you can add invalid image links. This allows people to request any URL. The fact that user actions aren't protected with XSRF tokens, allows for XSRF to take place. i.e, and image with the link: https://securitybox.ddns.net/i...

Re: Kali vs. Parrot vs. Tails

I personally had Parrot setup as my primary OS, for quite some time. I actually loved it quite a bit. I mean, it was pretty stable, had some awesome infosec tools out of the box, came with some anonymity stuff, I mean... It was good... But then one day, I couldn't get any packages, I couldn't update...
